Bits of sunshine for you!
I took these photos whilst driving around town two days ago. They are just a few of the flowers out now.

Recycling for craft
What would you do with all these items? Most of us would throw them out but really they are grist for the mill if you have a wonderful imagination. I saved these for an eleven year old girl with an outstanding creativity level. I don't always get to see what she makes with my saved rubbish but, when I do, I am astounded.
Even if your children are no longer into creating things maybe you could recycle some of your rubbish to friends' children or pre-schools and kindergartens where they will be gladly received by little people.

Pink and green bag
This is the bag for child number 2 of the family from the never-never. The floral fabric is from the Heather Bailey 'freshcuts' line and teamed with a bright pink homespun because I am assured that the young lady loves pink. Because I wanted to use the three buttons on the top section for decoration I made a tie closure instead of using another button which would have looked ridiculous.

Now I just have to get number 3's out of my head and through the sewing machine. The trouble is that it keeps changing in my head and so it doesn't get done. Does that ever happen to you?

Two faces
Last nights smiley face as seen from our front balcony, slightly changed by means of some trick photography, ie. move the camera whilst taking the photo! This natural phenomenom is made by Jupiter, Venus and a three day old moon being in this exact positions. Apparently it won't happen for another 5 years.
