Two bags for two sisters

Bag 1

Bag 2
Not two bags each but two bags all up.
Because I haven't seen much of these young ladies lately and they are moving from little girls into teenagerhood I have been stumped on how to make their bags. In the end, after much dithering, these are what I came up with.
Depending on their mood or sense of fashion they can choose which side to show. As usual, the bags are loaded with pockets.
I had to go out last night to pick up some milk, so took the opportunity to drop them off. Really, I just wanted to see their reactions and they were just what I hoped for!

  1. They are both gorgeous but that green one just blows me away !

  2. What fantastic gifts for the new teenagers. I'm sure they'll love them. How could they not!

  3. What is it with all the bagmaking going on in blogland?!? Love yours. Especially that you get to have a mood choice when you use them...

  4. gorgeous! nice gifts, they will definitely be loved.

  5. Lovely bags! I wanted to thank you for my parcel that arrived today. Some of those vintage crochet patterns are just divine. Thank you for hosting the giveaway and thank you for picking me as the lucky recipient.

  6. They are both wonderful, but LOVE that first one!
I like the different styling on each side.
The girls are sure to love them.

    Kimberly :)

  7. i really like your solution to my lovely apron problem! and i love these bags...gorgeous contrasting fabrics

  8. I am sure they loved them - a treasure made by you, what's not to love.

Thankyou for your kind thoughts. I appreciate and read everyone even though at times I may not be well enough to reply. Thankyou.
