Mine! Mine! Mine!

Is that me crowing? Absolutely is!! But only because I beat all the other ladies of town to the linen today. First time ever. And to think that if I hadn't washed my carpet last night I wouldn't have had to be up on time to get it back to Woolies at opening time and on top of that I wasn't even going to contemplate going to garage sales today.

Woohoo! I feel so happy. I've even had some wild thoughts about cutting up some of these perfect, brand new teatowels into little bits for random applique. Just have to wait and see.

These little baby sheets are from the op shop. I had just found out that a friend was almost three months pregnant and I know she has been trying for quite a while so these came at just the right time. Although I do think that I would have picked them up anyway because they are just perfect and so cute.

  6. Fabulous!!! (said in Jim Carey voice)
I just adore the little deer on the baby blanket!
Don't even consider cutting up those precious tea towels until the right project comes along! I have a stack of 18 Australian flora and fauna calender ones from all different years, mostly back in the 80's (except for my birthday of course) and I just can't bear to cut them up!
And I just KNEW that Cam from Curly Pops would love your tea towel find! lol Have you seen the amazing aprons she makes?!
And Vics comment. lol Garage sailing, as in sitting on a garage SAILING! lol Vic you're too funny!
