For the sweetest lady

I wasn't sure what colour to make for a very sweet lady who has gone through 33 years of an absolutely lousy marriage but is now definitely loved and appreciated by her new husband. But, typical man he says, he's not sure what her favourite colour is though he has noticed that she as been wearing a particular blue skirt a fair bit. So blue it is.
While looking through all my blue curtain samples, which is what these are made from, I came upon this beautiful rose fabric. I love it so much I would have kept it if it only wasn't blue. Blue is totally not my colour especially when it is pale.
I think the thing I am really wanting is true rose, fair dinkum ones, not just pictures. Pity our soil is so very sandy and roses much prefer clay.
OK. Enough waffling on. How was your weekend? Did you have time to craft? Or if you had the time, did you have the energy?

  1. Both are lovely and you know she will love them because they show her how much you care for her. I'd be thrilled is they were for me. :)

  2. Scrolling down I am completely BLOWN away by how much bag making (and photography!) is going on. Woohoo for you! And the 'blues' are perfect.
