The kindnesses of friends and strangers.

Thankyou is an oft forgotten word but it can mean so much. We all try to remember to say it but some people even show it.
Clare from Clare's Craftroom sent me this little set as a thankyou for helping to name her sewing machine. It seems I have a knack for that sort of thing as it is the second machine I have successfully named online.
Thankyou Clare and sorry about being so late with saying so.
(Sorry about the bad lighting. It looks much better in real life)
My next thankyou comes from a friend.
I have made her daughter a couple of bags "just because" and also a nappy bag on request for her niece.
On top of all the hugs, drawings and verbal thanks from her and her daughter she gives me this:
A voucher for a relaxing massage.
Just what every hard working (?!) crafter needs.
I think I am being very spoilt here but thankyou so much!

  1. Thanks for the comment on my blog. My mum is a cleaner, and had a cleaner for a few months, maybe longer, when I was a teenager and she opened her own store. She taught me well and I know that if I am ever out of work I could be a cleaner ... and goodness for the rates I was quoted I was near ready to give up my day job and start up right away. Thankfully, my cleaner just wants to do what I am keen for her to do and not a whole heap more and has quoted a price I was able to pay.

  3. DON'T YOU DARE (and you'll note I'm typing in capitals for the important bits) DO WHAT SOMEONE ELSE I KNOW DID (Ahem) AND LET THAT VOUCHER EXPIRE UNUSED. OK?

Thankyou for your kind thoughts. I appreciate and read everyone even though at times I may not be well enough to reply. Thankyou.
