Now that the softies are done I am starting on blocks for Quilts for Queensland which is being organised by the supermum Corrie from Retromummy.
I'm just using scraps from my stash, all IKEA fabrics.
Every time I work with these I get so excited, much more so than if I had whole pieces.
Corrie would like blocks of any kind so long as the finished piece is 12 i/2 inches.
You can find more details on her blog.
when I saw "0 nice thoughts" I had to share one :p have fun doing your blocks.
ReplyDeleteI have some ikea fabric too you just reminded me I promised to make some more cushions out of it for one of the teachers at the school! eek!!! 2 weeks left to do it... STACKS of time!! haha.

Wow I bought a stack of Ikea remnants the other week, it was like a pot of gold! The red curtain was made into a beautiful dress for my daughter, and I have some of that bird pattern fabric too.
